How Can I Change What’s In My Subconscious If I’m Not Aware Of It?

Think of our minds as being divided into three distinct parts: The Conscious or Critical Mind, The Subconscious or Habitual Mind and The Superconscious or Spiritual Mind.

The Habitual Mind reflects our dominant vibration. It automatically attracts events, people and circumstances into our experience through the Law of Attraction. That is its only job. However, this Habitual Mind attracts only to the extent that the limiting beliefs it holds allows it to.
The Critical Mind discerns, chooses, explores contrast. It decides “I prefer this and not that.” However, its choices are limited by the limitations of what resides in the Habitual Mind. By definition, The Critical Mind also acts as a guard, a bouncer for the Habitual Mind, rejecting all that is too far outside its perceived limitations.

The Spiritual Mind is the observer, who we truly are. It guides us and communicates with us through feelings. If a thought, word or action feels good, then it’s in harmony with our deeply held beliefs and desires. If it feels bad, then there’s a conflict between something we desire and something we believe.

Our job then, is to…
One – Choose what we prefer with our Critical Mind. Two -Listen to the Spiritual Mind for guidance. And three – Impress our Habitual Mind with new habits of thought that expand our subconscious ideas of what’s possible.

To do this, we need to bypass the bouncer (Critical Mind). Fortunately, we do this automatically several times a day.

It’s called a trance. When we drive a car, daydream, get engrossed in a book or a movie – we unintentionally enter a trance state. Our attention (Critical Mind) is so focused on one task, it ignores everything else in our immediate experience. Even though our senses are still picking up sights, sounds, smells, touch and tastes from our surroundings, we’re not conscious of them.

The 20Minute MindSpa combines the best of several cutting-edge technologies into an extremely effective tool, which, one – Quickly coaxes your brain into a trance state. Two – Occupies the Critical Mind with Attention-training exercises, and three – Simultaneously, directly and repeatedly impresses the Habitual Mind with life-enhancing affirmations – effectively influencing your belief system toward allowing a new and preferred life experience.

How Do I Create Deliberately?

The process of creation involves three steps:

First — We ask for what we want. We do this automatically. As we experience the contrast in our physical environment, we are constantly deciding what we like and what we don’t like.

Second – The Universe answers by orchestrating the events, people and circumstances necessary to manifest the desire.

And, thirdly – We allow the desired experience into our lives. We do this by raising our expectation of the experience along the emotional scale from doubt to certainty.

Creating deliberately, then, involves monitoring our thoughts for the way they feel – If the thought of something desired feels good when we focus our attention on it, then we’re allowing the object of the desire into our experience. On the other hand, if the thought feels bad, it’s a communication from our inner guidance system that we’re focusing our attention on the lack of the desired object – the fact that it’s not here. And, therefore, we’re not allowing. We’re resisting. Pushing it away.

To create deliberately, then, we need to –
One – Put our intention out into the Universe by choosing our preferences clearly.

And two – Focus our attention only on thoughts that generate good feelings.

The 20Minute MindSpa does precisely that with ease.

Why do I attract negative experiences?

For me, the biggest obstacle to achieving that connection with Source — that feeling that all is right with me and the world — is the illusion of vulnerability — that somehow I’m at the mercy of forces beyond my control — fate, people and circumstances which can come into my experience at any moment and cause me injury. I call it an illusion because if I truly believe the Law of Attraction, then I know that NOTHING comes into my experience without my inviting it in through my thought. Many question the totality of this statement. They say “how can I have invited this awful thing into my experience? I did NOT want this to happen to me. I’ve been fighting against it ever since I can remember.” By fighting against something, we give a lot of thought to it and the Law of Attraction delivers the very thing to us. LOA operates on the principle of inclusion, not exclusion. It delivers what we think about, period.

The wanting of every subject has two sides. We can either focus our thoughts on manifesting what we desire or on the lack of it. The way we FEEL when we’re thinking about the subject let’s us know whether we’re attracting what we want or the lack of it. So, if I think about the lack side of some issue I feel bad and LOA delivers more of the lack. If, on the other hand, I feel good when I think about it, then LOA delivers the object of my desire.

So my task is to constantly steer my thoughts so that the feeling they engender is always good. Therefore, my predominant intent is “nothing is more important than that I feel good.” Many would call this selfish — and I agree. By the very nature of reality, we are selfish, and that’s a good thing. Some point to people like Mother Teresa and ask “how could she be selfish?” Mother Teresa thought the way she did and did what she did because IT MADE HER FEEL GOOD.

The 20Minute MindSpa can help you train your thoughts.

What Role Does Self-Appreciation Play In The Context Of The Law Of Attraction?

Self image is everything. It’s through our self image – how we see ourselves – that we interact with others. It is through the filters of our self image that we create our experience of the world.

We all want what we consider to be good things to come to us. Yet, if we don’t value or appreciate ourselves, we won’t let these things in, for we don’t feel worthy.

From the instant of birth we’re taught that Source is perfect, and that we’re here to live up to that standard of perfection and prove ourselves worthy — the essence of the concept of original sin. In the light of Law of Attraction, this concept makes little sense.

Source (God, The Universe, the Soul) is the ever expanding, conscious energy that permeates All-That-Is. We are an extension of this consciousness, contributing to its ongoing expansion through our creation in thought. Source thinks us into physical existence for the express purpose of its own expansion, through this environment of contrast.

Thought gives birth to feeling. Feeling summons experience. Experience presents us with contrast and choice. Choice propels us to a new platform from which to begin the cycle again — infinite expansion. There’s no need to justify our existence. Our being-ness is of great value to All-That-Is.

The 20Minute MindSpa smoothes the way for this expansion with a minimum of effort and a whole lot of relaxation.

How Do I Reshape My Thoughts?

We are, in our most basic essence, PURE AWARENESS — timeless, formless, limitless, alive thought — using the tools of ATTENTION, INTENTION and GUIDANCE to narrow its own focus into specific points of view. ATTENTION is like a variable spot light which allows us to focus on a particular thought as narrowly or as widely as we desire. INTENTION is the engine that points us in the direction of a desire and sets us in motion toward it. GUIDANCE is the sense of how the thought makes us feel. How we’re vibrating on this subject, at this precise moment. If the thought evokes a sense that all’s well, eagerly anticipating the journey toward the desire (positive feelings), then we’re flowing with our intent. If the thought evokes a sense of doubt, fear or apprehension (negative feelings), then we’re resisting the flow.

Let’s make a distinction here between FEELINGS and EMOTIONS. Feeling is how this AWARENESS communicates. It exists as pure LOVE — that sense of BEING ALIVE. The more we’re flowing with it, the better we feel. The more we resist and get cut off from it, the worse we feel. That’s why nothing is more important than feeling good. EMOTIONS, on the other hand, are the labels we give to these feelings when we misinterpret them as reactions to seemingly external circumstances. That’s why they appear so baffling and often seem to control us.

Our aim is to be in touch with this AWARENESS, this sense of BEING ALIVE and to connect to what we imagine to be the outside world from this perspective.

As you intend to feel this AWARENESS in ALL-THAT-IS, the 20Minute MindSpa, can become an extremely valuable tool.

Why Is Appreciation So Important?

Appreciation =
1) The recognition and enjoyment of the good qualities in something or someone.
2) To increase the value of.

Law of Attraction presents us with an apparent conundrum — All that we desire we desire because we believe that attaining it will make us feel good. However, how we feel in the present moment (our vibratory stance) is what Law of Attraction is responding to. So, in order to attract those things we desire, we have to feel good first. Luckily, we have the tools of Attention and Intention with which to sculpt our thoughts and steer them toward those that make us feel good, with or without the object of our desire. For example — We walk past a store window every day and see an object displayed which we desire. If we lament the fact that we cannot afford it, the object would be a long time coming to us, if at all. However, if every day, as we pass by the window, we admire the object and revel in the feeling of appreciating it, it cannot but come to us.
Noticing how good things are now makes us feel good — a vibratory stance that’s closer and closer to Source. It lessens our resistance and allows more and more of what we consider good to come into our experience.

From the moment we’re born into this physical life experience we’re trained in the illusion of objectivity. We learn to abide by a series of unspoken and widely held agreements about the factualness of what we observe. And we call it reality. Thus, we embark on a lifetime of observing what we believe to be an external world and reacting to it — weighing the pros and cons of every situation. But by merely observing what is and reacting to it, we command Law of Attraction to bring us more of what is — some of it good, some of it bad — more of the same. So the quality of our experience never improves. A form of cultural insanity — thinking the same thoughts, doing the same things, feeling the same feelings and expecting different results.

By focusing our attention on more and more of the good aspects of what we observe, we stimulate Law of Attraction to begin delivering to us more and more of what we consider good. Thus we break the cycle and our life experience begins to improve. And because Law of Attraction brings you more and more of what you focus on, in somewhat of a snowballing effect, our life experience becomes one of spiraling upward and upward toward total joy, freedom and growth.

The 20Minute MindSpa not only trains your attention, but it also offers good-feeling thoughts to get the snowball rolling.

How does the Law of Attraction work?

“I think, therefore I am.” — Rene Descartes

We exist in a Universe of thought. Everything is a thought. Even our experience of what we believe to be a solid reality is a thought. We feel, smell, hear, see and taste by gathering vibratory data with our senses. That data is then processed in our minds (thought), filtered by association with memories, assumptions, prejudices, etc, (all thoughts) into what we call the experience.

What we call reality is nothing more than our subjective interpretation of vibratory data filtered through a lifetime of habitual thoughts.

Objective or shared reality is shaped by a preponderance of habitual thoughts that are, in essence, agreements which form the codes or rules that facilitate our living cooperatively in society. We have a code of law, a code of ethics, a code of conduct, a dress code, etc.

So, as Lilly Tomlin calls it, this reality is nothing more than “a collective hunch.”

The Law of Attraction has a snowballing effect on our thoughts. Start with a small thought on a particular subject. Give that thought attention for a long enough period of time, and the Law of Attraction brings to it more and more thoughts like it, until, eventually, enough thoughts clump together to manifest what we interpret to be a physical experience.

The 20Minute MindSpa takes advantage of this aspect of the Law of Attraction to expedite the process of manifesting a desired life experience.

What is the Law of Attraction?

The Law of Attraction is the fundamental unifying principle of the Universe, and by the Universe, I mean EVERYTHING that exists. It simply states that LIKE ATTRACTS LIKE.

Recent movies and books on the subject have, on the one hand, brought a large number of people all over the world to the awareness of this principle. On the other hand, they have also contributed to much misinterpretation, contradiction and confusion.

When I ask people if they’ve heard of the Law of Attraction, I often hear “Sure, it’s the idea that you get what you want, right?”

Well, if that were the case there wouldn’t be any suffering or unhappy people in the world. It’s more accurate to say that you manifest into your experience what you expect. But that’s not the Law of Attraction. It is, however, a brief description of the mechanism of creation.

Once you’re aware and understand the Law of Attraction, then you can use this mechanism to create desired experiences in your life deliberately.

The 20Minute MindSpa can be an extremely useful tool in helping you accomplish this.

The Illusion of Time

Time is an illusion. The past is memory, the future imagination — both being generated by us in the NOW. Furthermore, our recollection of the past and our projection into the future change from moment to moment depending on how we’re vibrating (feeling) NOW.  This infinite NOW is all there is. Live it fully. It’s a gift. That’s why it’s called the present.

A Life of Freedom, Growth and Joy

The basis of life is freedom. The purpose of life is growth. The pathway there is joy. We are infinitely powerful creators of our own life experience through the shaping and reshaping of our moment to moment state of being. Noticing what we don’t want, helps us discern and focus on what we do want.

Our job, then, is to contour the energy of All That Is with our thoughts, using the tools of attention and intention to create a joyous state of being. Then, we can relax into the expectation of that which we’ve attracted in thought. That is what the contrast of this life experience is all about.
